Romantic Poems

I love romantic poems especially when they can be lived out here at home.

Romance

A night away,
Low music too,
A soft caressing hand,

A dinner fine,
A sun set free,
Not in a distant land.

Robert Ogden

We don’t have to be on a tropical island in the South Pacific to enjoy the romantic company of a loved one. At home, at a restaurant, by the seashore…time spent with that special someone is, indeed, special no matter where you are.

What is your favorite romantic spot? Is it at home, nearby, at some special location, or is it, indeed, far away? I absolutely love just being with my wife at home in our easy chairs working on our separate areas of interest. The only thing that matches it is when we are alone at a timeshare for a week. The concentrated time together and the new, exciting surroundings make it hard to beat. But, the long term, day in and day out time spent together throughout the year highlighted by the occasional night out still ranks on top.
