Preschool Graduation Poems

Preschool graduation poems blend together a new perspective of dignity and cute.

Pre-K Grad

Well done, my child.
We’re proud of you,
Our precious little jewel.

Now off you go
To work and learn
At kindergarten school.

Robert Ogden

Watching preschoolers totter through a graduation ceremony is amusing. While everyone is trying to preserve a little dignity, the children in the program are…well…being themselves. As serious as they can be, they create natural humor while trying their best to recite their learned parts.

One of the best bloopers happens in a group recitation when one or more of the individuals speaks with a voice twice as loud as anyone else, bringing smiles to the faces of the audience as they home in on the individual and enjoy their “team solo.”

And, of course, there is the inevitable sign holder…for a letter of the alphabet or for an animal on “Old MacDonald’s” farm…who gets disoriented and proudly displays their sign upside down.

Preschool graduations are wonderful journeys into the world of the unpredictable.
