Mother Poems

Mother poems show love at its finest.

You Were There

You helped me through
My problems sore
Through all your love and care

To see me through
My frantic youth;
I’m thankful you were there.

Robert Ogden

Some kids relate better to their dad; some relate better to their mother. Either way, it is good to have a parent to talk to when a crisis arises or even when there is just a need to talk.

Youth is, indeed, a frantic time. We haven’t yet “found ourselves” and settled into our adult lives of service. We’re still searching for who we really are while dealing with youthful emotions and friends caught up also with these same emotions.

It’s great to have a mom who is there for us and who can give advice from both the heart and from experience.
