Funny Christmas Poems

Here is a selection from funny Christmas poems.

Christmas Dinner

The salt did spy
His pepper friend
And said, “Good cheer, friend black!”

Then pepper cried
With impish grin,
“And 'seasonings' greetings, back.”

Robert Ogden

I heard this spoof somewhere and decided to stick it into poem form. It’s a humorous look at what might occur in the same vein as the imaginary characters in the story of the Nutcracker or, for those of you in sunny Florida and, perhaps elsewhere, those animated salt and pepper shakers on the Publix (Florida grocery chain) holiday commercials depicting the luscious spreads of food at a table hosting a family gathering.

Anyway, if you need a short, clean joke for the holidays, you should be able to fashion one out of this poem.
