Family Poems
Family poems reveal the patience necessary to put up with the differences inherent in each member of a household.
Toilet Paper
Some use a lot, Some sparingly, Some like it cheap, no doubt.
Some like it soft, And some don’t care, Just so they don’t run out.
Robert Ogden
No one in our family views life exactly the same as any other family member. I like the toilet paper coming off the bottom of the roll and wince when a new roll is placed so that it comes off the top. My wife and kids like the ceiling fan on in the living room while the air conditioning is running, and I start sneezing to death.
The list goes on and on, probably in your family as well as mine. But that’s what makes a family. Starting with mom and dad as they court and get married, the decision to get along with each other’s differences has to be based not on emotions, but on integrity.
