Christmas Poems for Kids
Christmas poems for kids bring back memories for us all.
Christmas Eve
The children can’t Contain themselves It’s hard to sleep at night.
Their dreams are shod With thoughts of gifts Until the morning light.
Robert Ogden
Emotions run high at Christmas, and that’s what memories are all about.
Remember the night before Christmas? As a kid, thoughts were all about opening the presents the next day. Who could sleep? Parents struggled between sleeping and dealing with anxious kids.
I remember back when I thought Santa Claus was real. One year, on the night before Christmas, I sneaked out of my bed room to see if the presents had been delivered yet. As I approached the living room where the tree was, I heard the roof make a creaking sound. Having been warned that Santa would not stay and deliver any gifts if he was seen, I shot back into bed.
