Christmas love poems start with the One who made the holiday season possible.

Christmas

A time to give
Ourselves to Him
And celebrate His birth.

Rememb'ring, as
We get our gifts,
To give Him what He’s worth.

It’s a well known saying that “Jesus is the reason for the season.” We celebrate His birth, the Saviour of mankind who later died to pay for our sins and make it possible for us to go to heaven.

Since He is the “reason for the season,” we should be careful to not get so caught up with gift giving that we forget about Him. Ask yourself, “What can I give Him this Christmas?” and be sure the answer is more than just a token gift.
