Anniversary Poems

Anniversary poems salute a special time in our lives.

Anniversary

The years we’ve spent
Together, dear,
Have meant so much to me.

The love we share
That brought us here
Will last eternally.

“Eternally” is symbolic meaning “as long as we live.” For us Christians, it means more. We know we are going to heaven when we die, so our love will last eternally. True, the Bible says we are not married in heaven, but memories of our life united with one special person will do.



Here on earth, our husband or wife deserves any blessing that we can bestow on them for their indispensible contribution to our wellbeing. Dispelling loneliness, in itself, is sufficient reason for holding my mate in high esteem. There are many other reasons, also, and each makes its claim to proving our love eternal.
